We had our wedding blessing the South of France last year. As previous posts, you have to live in France for 40 days to ACTUALLY get married there, so we did UK registry office and then had our blessing in a beautiful Chateau in a small village called Ginestas. edited by monkeymoomin on 07/07/2014

The Jumeirah Mosque tours will be running every day except for Fridays throughout Ramadan. You should arrive at 9.45 am to register and the tour will start at 10 am. The Sheikh Mohammed Centre (who run the Jumeirah Mosque tours also) are offering Iftar programs in the evening which do indeed include a trip to the mosque after the main meal. However, this is the Diwan Mosque located near to the centre in Bur Dubai. The Iftar programs are AED 135 per adult with children under 12 free!!!

The Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding is a great one, totally unique experience to anything else in Dubai!

Yes deffinitely try the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding. They run Iftars every day from 6.45pm until 9pm. The cost this year is 135 aed per person and you get much more out of it than sitting in a hotel restaurant!

Hello Ladies Just wanted to share that I went to visit the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Awareness last week and it was brilliant. The presenters and staff are very friendly and informative and you can ask them anything you want and they will try and answer. We stayed for the lunch which was a nice change from hitting the food courts in the mall when we have visitors! I am pretty sure they run tours and other meals throughout the week aswell, well worth the trip :)

Hi ladies I was just wondering if Sakhifa had any success with this it if indeed any other ladies have experience if re registering a car from a different Emirate. We have a car registered in Sharjah but now our visa has changed to Dubai. We have had lots of stories about importing and exporting between Emirates but then we hear that you can register in any Emirate? BUT is this the case if the visa has charged? TIA

Thank you for all of this advice and information. We also live on the Palm in Shoreline and are currently going through this situation as I need to renew my visa to go onto my Husbands. Our landlord has told us they have been applying for the title deeds since September but have had no joy with Nakheel. Clearly if this is true and they have indeed paid the fee they will have a receipt!!!! I have now requested the receipt from the landlord.....fingers crossed for a long awaited positive response :)
