This agent is not very good. Difficult to get information about the trip and also the information given is incorrect. ( you are not sure what you are getting for your money until last minute) We were flying to Amsterdam and Berlin . The voucher mentioned we are allowed 20 kg baggage allowance Dubai to Amsterdam and Berlin to Dubai ( 20 kg each sector) . . I checked with the airline and they confirmed its 30 kg + hand baggage . But when I double checked with holiday factory they still confirmed its 20 kg. This 10 kg difference is a big disadvantage for the passenger . The holiday factory customer service not upto satisfaction and better improve on that .

I will say HF are pathetic, they suck!!! I had a very bad experience with HF. So want to warn people who are considering them, they are horrible. Please book your trip yourself from booking.com and get the tickets from the airline websites like flydubai.com etc. I had booked tour for my parents to turkey. They said they do not deal with the visas, and you have to get yourselves. But it is easy and you can get it within a week. However when we went to take the visa, the embassy couldn’t give because they said they have system failure and cannot proceed until after our booking date. HF were not helpful at all. They kept repeating “Visas are not our issue” … blah blah .. without helping in any way possible. For canceling they charged 1000AED. No, warning before hand about the visas, kept saying it is easy and no help afterwards. One more thing the hotels they offer are not good at all, you can get better deals from the net yourself. Oh why oh why did I choose them (they have a good marketing team, that’s why). I will say again HF are pathetic, they suck!!!

We booked a package to Istanbul with them mainly because of the airline tickets they offered for the dates we wanted to fly(we could not find any online). The hotel they arranged for us was very substandard (3 star rating as per them). My husband and I booked a hotel on our own later and used the free airport pickup drop, sight seeing etc included in the package. The remaining days we were on our own. Hope this helps. This was almost 2 years ago. edited by aa5207 on 20/05/2014

Hi ladies, Have any of you ever booked a holiday through the holiday factory in Dubai? It's been advertised as being great on virgin radio but I'm finding really mixed reviews so looking for some info before we book, Thanks
