Hi ladies,

What's the best place/Dr to go to.
Cost?
I've never had any Botox or fillers so this is all new to me. I want natural Plummer lips... Will my lips bruise? I have a wedding on fri n want to get them done tomorrow if possible. :)

Hi there, I had mine done at Oxygen spa, Marriot Executive Tower Deira, I required 2 syringes the Dr said they will last me up to a year , Then small top ups each year after that. I had some bruising which lasted a few days but she thinks this may be due to myself having it at the most sensitive time of the month if you know what I mean. My lips look amazing and so natural and fuller my friends knew there was something different about me but couldn't put there finger on it. I also had botox done at the same time which she did an amazing job and price was really good.

Is lip filler like Botox? Do you have to keep doing it every so often or once you do it the results stay for a long time? Curious ? You have to do them every 3-6 months

He uses Dysport or Allergan based on your preference. It's 138aed per little poke site. Not per syringe. So if I had four spots per eye that he would poke then it would be 8 sites. So 8 x 138.

138 aed what type of Botox is he using ? I think that's the cheapest I have ever heard of . It will be one of the cheap, watered down versions as Allergan and Dysport which are the best brands cost more than that to buy from directly from the manufacturer 138 is far too cheap and I would be careful using it

you may experience some bruising which may be noticeable, mine weren't particularly swollen to be honest. I disguised the bruise I had with lipstick. if anyone mentions it and you don't feel comfortable telling them, then you could always say your using a plumping lip-gloss...not sure what work environment you work in but its worth a shot. is 138aed the correct price? that's very cheap for Botox, would be fantastic if it was that price but I would question the quality of it being so cheap...

Go see Dr. Abdullah at Eternity Medicine Institute. He isn't here right now (I wanted to get mine done this week sadly) but will be back in a week. He is the best at making mine look super natural. I have made the permanent switch from Dr. Khan to Dr. Abdullah. Plus he is much more available because he is new here and hasn't gotten his name out there yet. He also did some botox for my mom and she looks fab. It was 138 aed per site I think? You can look him up on facebook, or one of these websites: cosmeticsurgeonuae.com or www.eternitymedicine.com/

I know many look natural, I was mainly saying that they would be swollen and probably a bit bruised for and event the day after. Many people go to Dr Jaffer Khan as he's one of the leading cosmetic surgeons in the UAE.

Yes exactly! No one at work made any comment and only a few close friends and family noticed mine as I had them done naturally! I could tell a big difference myself and never looked back! Xx

Plenty of people have their lips done and do not have a trout pout. Many of them you would never guess their lips have been cosmetically enhanced as it is so natural looking. You just have to get the right doctor to do it and be conservative with the amount you put in.

I agree with Billie. It depends where you go and how much. Many of my friends have them done with Dr Imran Tahir and they don't resemble Leslie Ash or Lauren Googer from Towie LOL

Oh don't be totally put off! Lip fillers look lovely if done correctly! I had the same worry prior to having mine done back in England. I was particularly worried about people noticing at work and making comment as I am nurse. I have had mine done twice now and each time have had 0.5 ml spread between the bottom and top lip. If you research a find a good aesthetic practitioner they will know what they are doing and no doubt have lots of experience! I'm new to Dubai so I can't recommend anyone but research around the aesthetic clinics I'm sure they'll have pictures up to ease your mind xx

So many times this procedure goes wrong and ladies end up looking absolutely ridiculous. Google Lesley Ash and see what happened to her. I'd seriously think twice about having it done even after the wedding.
