HI,

I AM NEW TO DUBAI AND JUST MOVED HERE FROM THE UNITED STATES. I HAVE BEEN CALLING AROUND PLACES IN DUBAI FOR BOTOX PRICING AND IT SEEMS LIKE EVERYONE CHARGES PER AREA INSTEAD OF PER UNIT.

IN THE UNITED STATES I ONLY PAID $10-12 PER UNIT AND ONLY GOT 20 UNITS. DOES ANYONE HAVE A CONTACT FOR BOTOX HERE IN DUBAI? I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT! THANK YOU.

HI Ladies! I finally found a decent place! I went to a clinic in JLT called La Clinique The doctor is American, his name is Dr. Michael Robertson and I believe the clinic is ran by a French guy. I paid around 500AED for 20 units. He charges per unit instead of per area so it makes it more affordable. Now, I have to say that I definitely noticed better results when I had botox done in the US. But this will do for now. He suggested only using 8 units.... which kind of threw me off so I ended up having to return the following week and having him do 20 units but it all worked out. I told the French guy that I will post the clinic info on here as long as he promises not to increase prices. Sorry but this doctor is awful ! i used him once and will never return, his botox is watered down and so is the filler he used on my lips, it lasted 1 week and that was it, his excuse when I asked him about it was that I smoked !! yet now i have been to another clinic and they are amazing expensive yes but amazing.

Health Avenue Clinic based in the Grovesnor house is great. They use Allergan botox which is the best botox I have ever had. It has lasted me around 5 months as opposed to 3. It is currently on Groupon 600dhs for two areas I believe but you have the option for one and three areas too. It's defiantly a good product for a good price which is pretty rare here in Dubai!

Prepare to pay anything from 1500-1800AED for full face Stay away from the cheap places as they use watered down stuff The only 2 surgeons I have used here are Dr Rezai at Dubai Healthcare City. He uses Allergan Dr Khan who uses Dysport which is the best one I have mine done when I visit home as it is half the price of the UAE Hi, Sarahlou. Is Dr Rezai any good? Where is he in dhcc? Where is home? How much cheaper is it? Thanks. Hi Dr Rezai is lovely and he is at Dubai Healthcare City. THey have offers on throughout the year but be prepared to pay around 1500 for full face. If its cheap then they are using the weak, watered down stuff! Google DR Allen Rezai and you will find him

interesting to read about botox for sweating...i suffer from sweaty face, forehead all the time no matter how fit I am - my father's genes bless him - so I was wondering about how botox might help..but I assume the sweat has to come out somewhere??? anyone else have botox with success for this reason?

I can tell you that Dr. rolf soehnchen from the Cooper Dermatology Clinic is the best doctor for Boxtox and filler, also he is a real consultant doctor, German and he knows what is the best for your skin, also in combination with other treatments He can't be much good if he has to rely on spamming women's forums to get custom .... Definitely one way to make people avoid him That's why I asked cost and make ;-) And do you think you'll get an answer ;)

Hmmm you know the saying if it's too good to be true, it usually is? Can't find anything about these doctors. They are on FB and I looked at the DR, he is ex John Hopkins so seems legitimate They use the brand Allergan and unfortunately I am immune to that product and prefer Dysport They told me on the phone it is just short of 900 for around the eyes and forehead Yes I read the fb page but googled and nothing. Just curious. I will stick with the UK and DR khan :-) better the devil you know

sevenskidubai.... yes I did have a general anaesthesia but not for aesthetic purpose but health related issues I hope you are well now and have no need for further surgery. Mine was more for reconstruction/aesthetic purpose, I had correction of tuberous breast. sorry did not mean to sound eager for surgery, especially when some have it done for life threathening conditions.

As a person who has never had botox, that price is much cheaper than I imagined botox to be. And, how often would one have to get full face? And, if I get it done, does it have a spring back and become even saggier effect? Or can you stop and there are no adverse effects? Thank you for any advice! I suffer from excessive sweating so I have botox injections in my underarms 3 times a year, it's very effective on me, I don't think I would survive living here without it. When I first moved here I was reluctant to have it done locally, so I reduced it to once a year and only had it done back home. but my sweating became unbearable and had to find a local doctor here to have it regularly cause it takes about 3-4 months for the nerves to become active again. I actually read reviews on here and went to Dr A Rezai. I've been using him since and am very happy. I asked to have botox on my face and he refused, he said I don't have the indication for it. apparently if one has botox in areas with no indication, with time the muscles will droop and look heavy. it was a breath of fresh air, hearing him saying no I don't need it. I've never experienced this before, not even back in UK. Thank you for this. I see my face aging and because I lost a lot of weight, I feel like my skin is loose, and genetics are not great in the forehead region. I'd like to start, but I don't know where to begin and was worried to begin something that I was binding myself to for life without which my age would kick in with a vengeance! The non-surgical,non-invasive options seemed a bit hit and miss, and something I should have begun on my 18th birthday if I wanted to reap the benefits. I think I will have a consultation and see what the Dr says. I've got a million more things to worry about rather than my face, but the more I worry about those, the more I need to worry about my face! lol If anyone knows of a Dr who would come to the home to do it, please let me know! I do not mind to pay extra. Dr AR will tell you as it is and wouldn't do unnecessary procedures, even if you asked him to. not sure about home visit though, but wouldn't hurt to ask.

@BellaBella, can you tell me more about the botox for excessive sweating? Does it stop the sweating entirely or does it just reduce it? No it doesn't stop it completely, it reduces mine with 80%, and no bad odour what so ever, even in Dubai's heat. I used to sweat badly, even during winter in UK, I alway carried an extra top to change into at work. now I sweat normal. but I have to repeat the botox every 4 months with no gap. For me it's my back, I also have extra clothing with me to change into. I am planning to have my thyroid checked though to see if that might be a cause. If not, I might have to consider going down the botox route, though it kind of sounds scary, and it seems you need to keep doing the treatment.. Thanks for the info:) Checking your thyroid is a good start, my sister had under active thyroids and was left with so many different symptoms, like mood swings, depression, hairloss on her head but the hair on her body thickened, not sure about excessive sweating, but that may be a symptom too. unfortunately using botox for sweating is not a one-off treatment, for results it has to be repeated every few months, and for back I think it'll work out expensive. hope you find the cause and treat it.

I was reading some reviews on a forum about Radiesse and many felt it did not last as long. Someone was telling me about some type of outpatient procedure now ( in the USA) where they use your own fat for the fillers and it looks fantastic ( not that puffy look). I just emailed her for the proper name but maybe some of you here have some feedback ? I think it's called fat grafting or fat transfer, but for this they take the fat from somewhere else on the body, so you'd have to have a liposuction as well. let me know if it's something else.
