I have my own trading license and manage to did it by myself with the help of my sponsor. I did not asked the service of a company/PRO as their cost is high. The cost will depend on the activity of the license as well. If you want I can refer you to my sponsor, but later, when he will be back from outside the country . Hi, Would love to get in touch with your sponsor. Thanks!

Hi, Im currently researching how to put up my consultancy business . I can share what ive got but would love to get information if i can get a local service agent. The only thing is if u want to get registered with DED, they require office space and renting a space is too expensive for me. Lowest cost ive got is aed 30k a year for 1 check plus i nees to get their help to register my company i.e. total of almost 60k aed. As a freelance consultant, that is high cost for me

Apparently, there are different types of procedures. There is this lasik where they open a flap of the cornea or the surface ablasive only (no flap) but longer healing. However, I heard from my colleague that the surface ablasive is much better as this will not have any flap and less likely to have halo effects? Any comments? What type of surgery did you have and how is it going up to now?

Hello Ladies, Just want to update you with my VBAC. Yes, it was successful and Dr. Anni was amazing! I am so glad that I picked her as my doctor and she fully supported me with my VBAC plan. My baby is now 15 months old. He was born 3.78 kg! Much bigger than my 1st (3.1 kg). One thing I must say, believe in your body and think positively if you really want VBAC! Now, I am enjoying my 2 boys and will plan for the next baby after 2 years. Have a good day!

I heard that Inspire at Al Wasl (Near Spinneys) is also good. I heard they are much better than Willow. I like Willow but it's a bit of a drive and I am also a working mum. There's also this Building Blocks in the Motor City. I heard they are also good.

That's the thing. I need to decide if we should go with Raffles as our seat will only be secured after I pay the registration fees. I heard from our neighbors that they send their kids there and they seem happy with it. Im definitely caught in between. Any thoughts of this Nursery before I proceed with anything? Thanks for your help.

Hi there, I have just had a meeting with the vice principal there in Raffles Town Centre branch and I really didn't like it t especially the Vice Principal, Ms Mansoora. I went there for a second visit to convince myself to enroll my son who's turning 2 next October. (we secured a seat for him). My impression hasn't changed at all from our first visit, i think i'd even dislike it more this time. During our first visit in that nursery, Ms. Mansoora barely gave us information about them. This time I brought a list of questions with me and asked her but she was so impatient to answer and even had that feeling that she doesn't care if I enroll my child or not. We have visited Willows Nursery in Al Wasl and we were quite convinced to enroll our child there. This can be our option if we can secure a seat. It will be quite a drive from Springs but the environment and attitude of the teachers and their assistants are much more pleasant than that with the Raffles Nursery Town Centre. We have checked Jebel Ali Nursery in Meadows Village (it's also quite near from Springs) but the only thing I don't like there is the area. THe nursery area is shared with Fitness First and they don't really have a space they can really have their own as there will be other people (Gym members) walking around with the children but they said they see to it that the children are safe. They need to wear uniforms there for this purpose. Hope our Nursery hunting will be successful in time.

I have Avent double pump which was very good. The pads were very comfortable and I think I was able to get more milk using this than Medela Freestyle. The downside is this is not battery operated and I used it much more when I was at home. I do not need to lean over whenever I use it since it's tilted upright. I used this for 6 months. I rate this 8 out of 10. When I went back to work, I bought Medela Freestyle (I thought of this as an investment). This was good, handy, and battery operated. I wasn't able to buy the pads so I found it not as comfortable as the Avent. I will buy the pads before I give birth to my 2nd child. I rate this 9 out 10. Hope this helps.

You're welcome. I wish you a healthy pregnancy and successful VBAC! Thanks! I actually booked an appointment with Dr. Raj after we get back from short holiday. I will keep my post updated. I also plan to see Dr. Anni of Nicolas and Asp. (I heard she's pro-natural birth as well).

Dr Raj at American Hospital. Dr Helena Christiansen at Primavera Clinic (healthcare city). Based on my friends' experiences. Another friend was on a lower budget so she registered before 25 weeks at Dubai Hospital and had a successful VBAC. Hi Apricot, Thanks for your response. :)

Hi, Let me know your experience with her after you give birth! A colleague's wife also recommended Dr Anni as she is pro-natural birth. We are 11 weeks pregnant with our second child and i had c-section with my first via induction. My OB Gyne is Dr Skorski from Healthbay. She seems okay but I also have a feeling that she might say the same things again with my 2nd pregnancy (baby is big due to GDB and my hips are narrow since I am short, I am Asian btw) and I am afraid I will end up in C-section again so might as well check Dr. Anni and see what she says. Good luck!
