We have not yet taken any decision but there is a possibility that we'll be moving to Liverpool within a year. By then, our children will be 13yrs and 6yrs.

We have previously lived in the Uk for years..that was in several parts of England and Scotland but never been in Liverpool.
If somebody here from Liverpool or has lived there before..would you please help me learning about: 1- what schools are worth applying to? 2- Any recommendation on good neighborhoods to live in?
Please share your thoughts of any positive or negative points to live in there!!

I appreciate your help x

Only one advice, if you are going to airport by car do not leave your car at airport parking, it's very expensive I've used this service in Hobart but you can search parking almost anywhere. It's my favorite parking service https://gotoairportparking.com/hobart-international-ap

Hi Jazi22, I'm from Liverpool and would be happy to try and help though I haven't lived there in a long time. i still visit and keep in touch with friends there. Could you let me know how to contact you? I'll let you know when I have got your info and you can remove your details if you want. :) Hi veganprincess, Many thanks. I'd be really grateful if you could email me on: I would like to learn about schools, what private schools worth applying to especially secondary schools as my son will be in Year 9 at the time of the move. I would like also to know which areas to live in, we will be looking for safe family friendly neighborhood. I'm quite nervous about this move as not sure what to expect in that place! any positive or negative points you can think of?? I'm most grateful for your help!

My family are Liverpudlians and I spent my university years in the city -- my favourite area to live in that I'd recommend is Woolton. Not too sussed up on schools, I'm sorry It's a great city to live in for all ages and I'm sure wherever you are you'll definitely enjoy!

You probably need to ask this question on a UK forum, where people actually living there can answer your questions.
