Mums of teenage daughters could you recommend the activities your daughters (age braket 15 to 17) do and where they do them? I find it difficult to find something for that age. My DD goes to school, has a little group of very good friends but spends way too much time in the house without doing any extracurricular activities as she is rather shy even though she does not want to admit it. This has ultimately a negative impact on her moods. I won't elaborate on this forum as it is too long but if you are a parent of a teenager you know everything that teenage girls get exposed to and how sensitive they are.
I strongly believe that extra curricular activities can do wonders and am hoping that other parents who may have gone through difficult times with their teens could share what has worked whether it is sports, arts, or drama to lift their DD's mood ( I do not need medical or counselling advice, this is something we have all sorted). Example of what I am looking for would be: she started running in that club with that coach or she is now doing drama at Diverse every Tuesday.

I have a teenage son in a similar place, so I empathise. There are some interesting courses being run at the Ductac (Mall of the Emirates), see www.ductac.org for all ages. Good Luck!
