Hey there! I'm Raquel. I've lived in the UK for 7 years now but planning on moving to Dubai in a few months. I'm originally Venezuelan but left my country 10+ years ago. Found out about EW by talking to other expat women who live in Dubai. I'm into archery, horses, books, food, beach, outdoors and anthropology. Dubai has changed so fast, I feel the need to keep up with more socially engaged persons. One random fact about me? I have always preferred to spend time with Elderly persons 70+ than with my age groups since I was 20 years young.

Hello everyone, I don't even remember when I got my account on here but I never ended up posting anything xD So here goes. I'm MJ, and I'm from Iran. Born and raised in the UAE though and never actually been to my home country sadly. I currently live in Dubai. I've been an expat here all my life (30 years). I enjoy painting, reading, cosplaying, gaming, picking up random DIY projects, long walks (if the weather allows it....), singing, streaming, and a bunch more. I like to keep my hands busy. I believe I found ExpatWoman that one time years ago when I was Googling psychiatrist recommendations in UAE. And lastly, a random fact about me: I'm left handed!
