Hi everyone, I am expecting my first baby in October and trying to decide on the best Dr to go forwards with. We had to change Dr's because our insurance did not cover our initial Dr of choice. I am looking at Medicilinic city hospital and wondering if anyone has had an appointment with Dr Annabelle Pollard and how they felt? Would love any input. Anxious first timer :-)

So sorry to hear what you went through Thatgirl4real. Hope you are getting better. Shame that you had an unfortunate experience, on the contrary to your experience, we had a good experience with Dr Annabelle. She was professional and knew what she was doing. In our case, her medical advice was indeed very helpful for our baby girl. I would highly recommend her. I guess sometimes things can happen as not planned. On another note, the hospital in general has bad customer service, the people that pick up the phones leave a lot to be desired.

Dr. Annabelle was nice and seemed to know what she was doing. Although the post delivery complications turned my experience to be a complete nightmare. I had an episiotomy and was cut into my bowel. I had no post delivery exam by anyone so after 6 days when I was in pain with poop leaking thru my cut I was made to wait for days to be referred to see a specialist. That we only saw because we called the ceo of city Hospital. No one was taking me seriously in that hospital. I ended up needing a eliostomy (when you poop in a bag stuck on your belly) that I have had for over 3 months now and will probably have for another 3 months. Lost my milk supply cos of the extended stays at the hospital. I also need therapy to get over the entire experience as I'm really ptsd. I would unfortunately not recommend her to anyone. My little daughter is perfect and healthy tho, but apart from this, worse experience of my life.

Hi all, Not sure where do you all live and if that would have some impact on the decision with regards to choosing your OBGYN; Mediclinic Park View Hospital on Umm Suqeim road has opened now and I hear there is a wonderful team of OBGYN doctors there. The access to this hospital is great via the Umm suqeim road as well as the Hessa road. Dr Jennifer Kasirsky who has worked at Welcare and city heads the department. I hear Dr Dalia is a good one trained from the UK; may be just check them... hope this was of some help ... Good luck and do share the feedback please.

Hi! I came on here looking for the same review. Have you met her in person yet or heard anything? Good luck with your pregnancy! :)
