hello,I'm just new here in the site and i found all the people kind and good in advising.
im pregnant and waiting for my first "BABY BOY" to come out this coming end of APRIL.
but i have a problem, i was pregnant already before i was able to get married with my Filipino fiance.
it took so long coz the preparation of the papers in the Philippines to make all the documents authenticated is not so easy, and the scheduling for the date of our wedding takes times.
now, they told me that they going to count the day of my baby born and my wedding day, what will happen then when they found out?
im worried with my bby, we are planning to take my baby home after 3 months since that baby can stay without visa for only 120 days.
but i need to make birth certificate and passport for him and that will be the counting of the days begin..PLEASE HELP..

I have read this from the previous thread and it was 2013 post not so sure if its still applicable :"Wow, what a mess. Funny how people are really cavalier about things when they move here and don't really think about the local laws or the consequences. Funny how people think comments like this are actually helpful or warranted. sb85, my friend had to go through this procedure recently because they got married when she was around 16 weeks pregnant. Baraha hospital initially refused to issue the birth certificate because they'd only been married 156 days when their baby was born, and apparently the legal minimum requirement is to be married for 180 days. Basically what they had to do was go to the court with two witnesses to confirm my friend's DH was the father of the baby. They were issued a certificate to prove this, which they had to take back to Baraha hospital. The birth certificate was then issued with no further problems, on the same day they got the certificate from the court. From memory (which is often unreliable these days!) the court section was Personal Status but I don't think they received any special help from anyone high up. I hope you get it sorted :). "

Hello. I just wanted to ask if I will be having an issue with the hospital if I deliver here? I got pregnant 2nd week of October 2020 and I got married 20 January 2021. Some people say they are not strict now and they won't count the days anymore but I went to a clinic in Sharjah yesterday and they told me if I am aware about the rules. I am confused. I am approaching 33 weeks of pregnancy, I was supposed to deliver in my home country but my flight was cancelled due to travel ban. My due date is on 12 July 2021. Will wait for your response. Thanks.

Hi. I live in Dubai and I found out through a PT that I am pregnant. I am planning to go home to my home country but wanted to go for initial consultation to make sure that the baby is healthy. Anyone has a referral? I obviously need an OB Gyne who is understanding about my situation thus recommendations of someone who has gone through the same thing is preferred. If you can also mention the consultation fee, that would be great. Thank you in advanced. Preferred location is Dubai but I don't mind driving to Sharjah and Ajman.

Blessed day everyone... I would like to ask and seek for your knowledge regarding the uae law in terms of getting pregnant before marriage. What is the required months or days from the date of marriage that you can legally deliver your baby here. Due to pandemic it took us a long time to process our documents, we got marriage here in Dubai consulate on october 21, 2020 and we also knew that i was pregnant already, my expected delivery will be on april 30, 2021... Based on the dates, will it be fine to give birth here coz by that time we are on our 7 months of marriage... Please help me.. I just want to be sure that our baby will be safe. Thank you in advance.

Dubai only does Religious weddings with civil component. Your best bet is to fly to Seychelles and get married their asap.
