I have been to Orlando Disneyworld many times. Still my favorite and I am trying to twist arms to go there this time because they have a new section and new animation hotel. Hitting a brick wall though convincing anyone. I read the reviews on trip advisor about Tokyo and as katnip posted the common complaint is the massive wait times for rides. i am looking at staying off site where they still provide shuttle buses in France

Is EuroDisney a bigger area with more things to do compared to Tokyo Disneyland + Tokyo DisneySea?

Not been to HK or Tokyo, but have been to Euro Disney when the kids were younger, we stayed off site and drive to the park, much cheaper. You could easily stayin Paris and get the train also as the train station is directly outside the park. Have to say though nothing compares to the Florida experience, we had a ball there last year. Again kept costs down by staying off site. We staying at the tiki resort which was so cheap and had great pool, mini golf, pedal boats all included...in fact t was crazily cheap as they run it as a time share but you can just say you don't want to go to the presentation on the first day and they never bother you again! Think we found it on trip advisor. Have a look on Martin Lewis money saving expert website as he has loads of Disney cash saving ideas. If you can go the extra mile Orlando is worth it.

thank you katnip. I have been to Hong Kong a few times already and once to the Disney there (@2006) and we saw everything in the park within a few hours. no lines either! the rest of the family wants to Euro Disney but the prices are triple (!!!) that of Florida or CA for hotels. I guess we will look into off park hotels as well. Tokyo was a spot I was curious about as that way I could have seen all the Disney's , the hotels were much cheaper and looked better. But long lines like the ones your describing can really damper the day. We went to Disneyland the day after Christmas and the park was so full it closed at 1pm. The lines so long (some 2 hour waits!) that by the end of the day we only got to go on 5 rides total. thanks again

I've been to both. Forget Tokyo Disney. Not worth it. The lines are MONSTROUS. They just go on and on. So absolutely crowded even in the middle of the week. Now Hong Kong Disneyland is one that's worth traveling to. And Hong Kong is more touristy in general (Japan... not so much) and there's tons of things to do there other than Disneyworld.

Anyone been to both? I have been to the Paris one years ago but never Tokyo. Which one would toddlers enjoy more? Looking online and gobsmacked at the prices for Euro Disney. If anyone has feedback concerning wither and the hotels there I would appreciate it thank you
