driving there is quite boring. you can fly and rent a car there. otherwise i recommend the hilton.

Best ones that I know of are the Hilton and Crowne Plaza - Hilton is quite a way out of the centre though, CP more central...We stayed at CP a few yrs ago and it was pleasant enough - quite dated though in comparison to the hotels here. Visited the Hilton and it looked nicer imo....

Hi Tweeti, For our Honeymoon we were at the Hilton and it was great!! Sandy beaches with camels cooly passing by while you take your meal The breakfast is very good they have tantalising waffles They have a nice swimming pool and, depending on the weather you can ask for a private dining on the beach So romantic!! Ask for a seeview room they have really nice balconies on which it is agreable to seat at all tim of the day Just watching the sea, hearing the birds and smelling the air http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hotel/SLLHIHI-Hilton-Salalah-Resort/index.do I hope you will go to Salalah it is very nice and authentic Baklawas
