Hello. I will be moving to Doha in the fall with my husband. This will be our first assignment without our children along. We do have a small dog. The company normally places expats in Al Jazi Gardens, but my husband has been told it may be possible to have a serviced apartment with a view of the sea. Can anyone share the pros and cons of compound versus high rise? I don't want to make a choice what will make it difficult for me to find a community. Thank you for any thoughts or advice.
