In that case go to the main hospital entrance and they will direct you to the mens out patient department. Be prepared to wait though. Best to go early in the morning if you can. If it is for something specfic and you have a referal you will have to go down there and get an appointment first. I have found a huge improvement in Hamads 'customer/patient' services in the last year and they have in fact been very helpful and friendly to me. The process can still be a bit long and laborious....but, Rome wasn't built in a day. Good luck.

Hi Saraomar, thank you for the info. Unfortunately, this one needs to be Hamad Hospital (and not one of its Health Centre) and not a private clinic, as it is relevant to some official paperwork. But I will certainly keep your suggestion in mind for future reference ;).

Where should an adult male go to see a doctor for a general cosultation, i.e. equivalent to going to a GP in UK? I know Hamad is fairly big and spread across. I am aware there is a women's hospital but where is the general clinic for out-patients? Thanks.
