Hello and Happy New Year EW. I've been here about a month...just now have been able to register on the site...but have read nearly every single page for Qatar, so much great info...just a couple ?s about where to find stuff:

Water filter that connects to the sink?
Humidifier? I found in carrefour but i'm looking for a good brand name like AiroSuisse or Moistair. Have looked all over the 3 malls but no luck.

Thanks KW:)

Thanks! I tried to change my username but the system won't let me... You should try emailing the moderator of the forum, Sam, her email address is [email protected]. I'm sure they can fix it :)

Thanks! I tried to change my username but the system won't let me... I'll try the hypermarket, thanks Bechamel. Two weeks and you know the roundabout names?! That's awesome!

Hi Welcome to Doha (I've been here two weeks!!) I saw under sink water filters in all shapes and sizes in Hypermarket Al Markhiya near TV roundabout. Its a different section from Food on the 1st floor. Hope that helps.

word to the wise, take your email off your msg (use the word at instead of the symbol) otherwise you may be inundated with spam. I know I've seen the under sink water filters - maybe at jumbo?? but I'm not sure (Jumbo has an outlet at City Centre and the Centre). Humidifiers - try at Boots? They often carry such things in the children's section (or try other pharmacies). Oftentimes, where you would look for things in Europe or North America, they turn up in pharmacies or specialized shops. Hopefully someone can help you out with more specific leads edited by marycatherine on 03/01/2011 If you need to buy a specific brand name, suggest you look into buying online and having delivery via ARamex edited by marycatherine on 03/01/2011
