Thank you Clairesut for your suggestion...if I decide for NBS I will have a look at Y Village! I 've just googled it and it looks nice with very impressive facilities!

thank you Rachel and Clairesut for your replies! I'm not in Doha yet....we are moving there in a couple of months.I would like to find the school first and then look for a compound villa. My kids are having the assessment next week in these two schools. I have found a lot of good comments on ILS, so if the assesment is successful I will enroll them there.Any suggenstion regarding compound and area where to look for? Looking at the map of Doha the closest area are: Markhia, North Duahil and south Duahil, Landmark area.

We have literally lived all over town. When we lived near the airport he was on the bus about an hour each way. When we lived by Landmark it was about 10 minutes drive.

Thank you Rachel for your precious reply! I'm going to visit both schools in one week and my kids will have an assessment as well. May I ask you in which part of Doha you live and how long it takes the commute?

I only have firsthand knowledge of ISL which I can definitely recommend. I know people who moved from Newton to ISL and definitely they liked ISL more. But honestly you should visit them both before deciding if possible - it's a very personal decision in the end.
