Thanks for all the feedback. Not sure what I'm going to do, but that's life - if you're not feeling uncertain and worried about schooling, then you're not living in the ME!

Overall I am [u'>very thrilled[/u'> with Park House. I have a one in year 3 and we are waiting on placement for our 2nd child to year 1. What I see as positives: Great mix of nationalities. Price compared to extracurricular offerings is exceptional. Our Teacher is strict but fair. High expectations for the kids, but some tailoring to level. Arabic and reading for example are based on level. There is a strong sense of community at the school. It's small enough to be personable but big enough to offer extras to the kids. The Negatives: Pick up and Drop off is awful. They have tried many strategies to alleviate including the new divided road as a temporary measure, this but you can't change the driving in Doha. A few of us Car pool to alleviate our stress! There is a wait list to get in. So there is a lot of luck. We only got one in. We applied in November for spots for the next year and didn't find out until April that we got in. Hope this helps! Cbecons

I have two children at Park House - one who started in Year 3 this time last year and one who started in Reception in September. Both my children love Park House and all that the school has to offer. Yes, parking can be a bit of a stress but doesn't every school have its parking difficulties! I am very impressed so far!

Sam my son left Park House 3 years ago and the road works were going on then. They are STILL not finished? Oh and to the OP, my son was there for Years 3-6 and was generally very pleased.

I have 2 children currently attending Park House and will have a third in the new Academic year. I have been overall happy with the school and if any 'issues' have ever arisen I have found the school open and approachable at all levels. I like the diversity of nationalities in the school and do not feel that any one nationality dominates percentage wise. I have also found good community in the parents and geel that this is getting stronger still with a new leader of the PTA movingthings forward in a positive direction. My children are all in the primary school but I have friend with children in the senior school and they are also very happy. Good luck in your school search.

My kids have been at the school for 5 years now, and I have been very pleased with everything. Ofcourse we have had a few niggles down the line, but the school has always dealt with things very professionally. The downside for me, is the parking at drop off/pick up! They are in the middle of doing road works to make the congestion better and its worse than ever. But here's hoping once they have finished that it will all be wonderful ;)
