I am a qualified UK yoga instructor and have recently moved to Doha. I have my RP and am now looking to begin work. Can I work as a self employed person under my husband's sponsorship, setting up my own classes, private clients, without working for a studio? If so, do I need to obtain a work permit and can anyone advise me of the process and documentation required. My online research only points to working for a company.
Additionally, if I were looking to offer yoga for teens in schools/private sessions would I need to have my education certificates/UK police clearance check attested before approaching them? Many thanks

Hey there, did you get some help with this? I would be interested to know also as I am self-employed in the UK.
Hi coffeequeen, I'm afraid I haven't had any definitive advice. A couple of people have suggested I should just go ahead and start working but I'm not convinced. If I find out anything more concrete I will let you know.
