I am 24 as well and I find it also a bit challenging. You could try joining a club such as the British club in Bahrain or joining the gym, doing something you enjoy :-)
Im starting to live in Manama for 50-70 percent of my time (other 50 still stay in The Netherlands xD) because of work. Maybe you could already suggest some nice and decent gyms in Manama? :)
I was there and found one like indo-phillipian gym... Quite hard-core one...
