much better than IKEA in my opinion, bought a coffee table from Ikea when we moved here and MY DH broke the leg trying to install it (screw on leg)... made of cheap compressed wood. we have bought our bed and dresser from home centre and it's still holding up perfectly well.

even if you didn't notify them you want to renew, you have the right to sign a new lease contract with new lease terms. whatever happens, he has no right to eject you, don't get threatened by anything. they can only evict you if you get a formal notice from the municipality signed by the notary public notifying you that you have to move in 1 year.

some islamic finance banks require the seller's passport copy and residency visa... i've had that before but actually went to the bank and gave them my details myself, to make sure it was them that needed it.

we've tried diamond lease, was not happy with customer service, the drivers where always late to come pick up the car for service. we're since moved to Turismo Rent a car, which was recommended by the Dubai English Speaking college. far better customer service and prices are even better than diamond lease.
