i moved from Europe to bahrain with my two pet dogs. I ll try to answer your questions.
1.May is too hot it has over 40 to 50 degrees at day time and even by night it stays much over 30 degrees and also humidity is very high which is uncomfortable for dog he also need to acclimate first. So this is too hot to fly with a dog, even if it's just 30 degrees and sun is shining at the kennel eg while waiting at the airport can get dangerously hot Inside the kennel.
2. I came with two dogs, one big and one 5kg dog which I wanted to take in the cabin-but Bahrain laws prohibits travel with any dog in the cabin, they are only allowed to enter to bahrain as cargo.
