I haven't been, and don't know of specific hotels... but I was recently researching a beach holiday for my family and came across a Vietnam location that is supposed to be nice. Phu Quoc Island Vietnam good luck :)

There are loads around Hoi An. We stayed at Boutique which had a lovely pool for children and was very friendly. Otherwise do a search on travel advisor. Good luck - thought Vietnam was great and hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Danang. Danang is being developed, the hotel in on a lovely beach, but there is nothing around. Great if you want to hang out at a beach resort. They do have a kids club, but my children are older. It's 1/2 hr from Hoi an and they have a shuttle there in the morning which returns at about 3pm and another one in the evening, but you need to taxi back (cheap)
