The Make UAE Plastic-free Campaign kicks off in Abu Dhabi
The Make UAE Plastic Bag-Free campaign was launched by the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi in February 2011. The campaign targets consumers and aims to raise their awareness about the harmful effects of plastic bags on the environment.
Khalidiyah Mall will be the first to host the event, which includes a variety of activities including talks, demonstrations, films and craft sessions for both children and adults, from 9th to 11th February. A half-day event will take place on 9th February from 4pm to 10pm, and 10th and 11th February will be full day events from 2pm to 10pm.
Al Wahda Mall will also be hosting the event from 16th to 18th February and Al Ain Mall from 23rd to 25th February.
