Thanks, based on that I will keep my own, we are leaving AD at about 4am so sleep is a must!

Appreciate the advice.

Hi, I am flying with Emirates with a 4.5 month old and was thinking it would be easier to check in my pram and use the complimentary stroller, but not sure it's suitable for my little lady.

Can anyone advise? She is quite big for her age and can hold her head up really well, but can't hold her self sitting upright just yet. I use a lay-flat pram just now and haven't tried her in a stroller yet, so I am pretty clueless as to whether or not these would be suitable, I am thinking yes as it's only for a couple of hours, but I would appreciate your thoughts / advice.

Thanks

Your little one would be ok, but you might be best off keeping your pram and checking it at the gate. The Emirates ones you have to leave when you enter the gate area, and sometimes you end up sitting there for quite a while.

Agree with Guinness. I flew with my DS at about the same age and really regretted checking our pushchair in. The Emirates ones do not recline at all, he couldn't sleep, bawled a lot - basically not a great start to a long flight! He was lovely and grumpy when we finally boarded. Next time, I kept my own and it was very simple, they just take it off you at the gate. Much happier boy on that flight!
