Jazz festival was in Media City last year. This is a new venue so cant help with specifics this time sorry. My plan go early walk to Intercontinetal, have a decent drink and rock up at 10.

Not going but live next to Golf club where it is being held.They have just made another car park for everyone.The roundabout between club house and residences has new entrance so you can drive into parking, if that makes senseBUT ...true to Dubai...it is too close to another road entering the roundabout sooooo will be a nightmare...good luck!Also you should have a 4x4 otherwise will get stuck in sand...maybe they will put gravel down today ?

Just a quick query: the gig for today is from 7 onwards but James Blunt's sched is from 1030 to 1200am....is it worthwhile to go there from 7 pm onwards....from previous experience, is parkign a nitemare if one goes a bit later than start time??? Didnt go last year...so want to know wat to expect...kind of...though the venue has changed this time!!
