Hi Meg,
Best place to try will be in Satwa - particularly along plant street, there's plenty of fabric guys that will even sew what you want for really good prices. These guys to all types of fabrics, as well as leather! WIll sew curtains etc, you name it. You'll find a mix of framing stores, fabric stores and plant stores in the one street (same side of the road that backs onto the Iranian hospital - hope that makes sense!).

Hi Everyone

I've been looking for somewhere I can buy modern fabric for upholstery and sewing in Dubai. I'm specifically looking for cartoon kids fabric and bold prints. I saw some at Ikea but they didn't have much of a range and all the nice swatches where sold out and they couldn't tell me if they were getting more stock.

I've googled and asked everyone I know but nobody seems to know. Please let me know if you know of a place that sells some.
