Strays of Abu Dhabi

Our  Story:

SAD is a non-profit organization committed to rehoming stray and abandoned animals in Abu Dhabi. We primarily deal with dogs but will assist other animals who are genuinely in need of help. The organization is run entirely by volunteers who donate their time to make SAD dogs happy.

We work at aiding the plight of abandoned animals in the Abu Dhabi area and raising public awareness. We also educate the community by visiting various community groups.

We find permanent homes for abandoned pets and provide healthcare and shelter for stray and abandoned animals. If you are looking for a pet, or feel you would like to help out, in any way at all, with the animals cared for by SAD, please contact us by telephone : 050 1307392 - The phone is manned by volunteers Saturday to Thursday between 9am and 5pm daily, please leave a voicemall outside these hours. Or email: [email protected]  We are a member of the WSPA.

We are being inundated with dogs being found, abandoned and starving, on the street. Take a look at Bingo - could you give her a loving home?

K9 Friends

Pet Charities

Can you lend a Paw?
K9 Friends are always looking for more volunteers. This would enable us to work more effectively for the benefit of more dogs. We are encouraged that the awareness and eagerness of school children to help has increased.

We appreciate their efforts and have received many donations of money and food. Well done! However, we also need more mature volunteers who are willing to help K9 Friends by taking even more responsibility for dogs in need. Click on their website for more information  www.k9friends.com
