i have just been up to register my car again for another year, took longer than usual as the printer didnt want to print the gold cards, had to wait half an hour just for that, but yippppeeeeeee no fines for me again this year.

I meant in Abu Dhabi, I have to go along and ask to see the picutre I reckon, I have a lot of fines !! Last time my hubby had black points, his photo his car, they gave me the points on my licence... because 'he is the man' right in abu dhabi then. rta is the roads and transport authority but thats in dubai. the place to go is traffic department off 4th and 21st st. there used to be a big policeman on a stick at the junction but he has obviously been given his marching orders. on the corner of the road is the kfc and pizza hut. so if you turn from 4th on 21st go down to the end at the roundabout on your right hand side the building there is the traffic dept. go in the main door, there is an information desk there, ask there, but then you usually have to go to room number 20something which is round and round the little corridors and there you can check your fines, and ask to see the picture, as quite often it can be the wrong car. you can always go up to the rego place at muroor on 25/27 and 4/2 and see if you can see the fines there too! do be aware that quite often they do not have a picture. if you need to contest them then its the traffic section off 21st is where you need to head for.

I have a list of them, and they say Abu Dhabi, but some were at 03.00 and not when I am out driving, I need to go to RTA and find out where exactly they were. and argue the toss about them being in the middle of the night. what are my chances? where exactly is the RTA office so I can go and find out. thanks in advance rta is in dubai do you mean in dubai or in abu dhabi. in abu dhabi you can go to the car rego places at samha/mussafah/muroor or the traffic dept off 21st st. have you checked its your car by the picture, as quite often they just put down the wrong car especially if its in the middle of the night, but do be prepared to just cough up if there is no picture.
