I have heard that in Abu Dhabi you can still get a visa extension (they stopped this process in Dubai this year). You will have to pay for it, maybe AED 500 (don't quote me) and they will grant you an extra 30 days. You will need to go to immigration for this.

Hubby is being process at the moment, so having my visa make take longer than expected. I flew in to AD on 24th July, so will be expected to do a visa run in 3 weeks. The only problem I have I have a medical condition that I am not allowed to fly or be seated for hours, in a car or bus. What will I do when my 30 days are up. I know its 3 weeks away, but I am worried.
Can anyone advise if I can be extended due to health reason's. TIA.
