WOW just got back from an afternoon swim at Palace beach next to the Palace on beach road! 10 years living here I have NEVER seen so many people there! it was packed, it took us 35 mins to exit the beach due to the line ups to get out. is this because Jumeriah beach is closed??

yes we did this. we went home and realized the grass is not greener back home and back home was Canada. I am actually Australian and my hubby from Canada. We missed our easy llfe in Dubai. We missed traveling and meeting people from all over the world. We have one child and he was fine moving--luckily! Having been back here now for 3 years we really appreciate it, we appreciate all Dubai has to offer. sometimes it takes going home to realize just how good we do have it here in Dubai.

ASD is very American. It has a slight international feel but the students there do have strong ties to America. There are many Indian and Pakistani families there that have strong ties to USA and have picked up an American passport along the way. DAA has a much bigger international feel esp with the Dutch there and the Swedish etc.... We have one child that was at DAA and now at ASD and I will say that ASD feels much more American--we are Australian. Saying that it is a good school. Hope this helps somewhat.

JLT is great when you are there, shops, beach, resturants etc.. BUT the construction around there is a night mare and the roads are always jam packed!!! The greens is a really lovely location and the traffic is not bad. I'd choose The Greens. good luck

I just think that one thing could lead to another. Spending time together doing something they both enjoy? just doesn't seem right. It could be totally innocent but if it was flipped and she was with a guy playing with him a few times a week I am sure her hubby wouldn't be fine with it.

If there is anyone with High School experience with K12, I would really like to hear your experiences! 49M&Ms how is your daughter doing. I would be very interested in talking to you as i am in the same boat as you with my daughter. thanks
