Thanks Babysoosoo, thanks Jen! My little girl is very persistent about this one too so I hope we'll find a class. The Lagoon mall is out of our way too, if you find something you could recommend let us know, will do the same. I will check out eba.qa, thanks!

There are also few new good schools, who still have free seats and are accepting applications. Such as Gems at Al Wakra, Qatar Finland at North Dulhail, at West bay area if you want IB schools Pearling and just rising MINDS also promising IB kindergarten and primary school to be. It seems it is getting better. And I hear next year they are planning 50 new school to accredit. (maybe not as many, but few more for sure). Good luck!

Thank you Babysoosoo! We went to Pediatric center. Wouldn't know about it, if there wasn't for your reply. We are very new to Doha. We got some antibiotic and two antipyretic medicine were prescribed to us, the same we already used. I was told by couple pediatricians if fever gets very high and one medicine is not working use the other one, based on different chemical formula. Thanks once again.

Eleonor, I think you need to get attested both, marriage and birth certificates too before applying for family visa. If you have the time try to do that before your husband leaves for Qatar. If you or anybody else has the info weather Immunization Records needs to be attested as well I'm sure we would all appreciate to know it. Bye

Thanks Eleonor. If I understood you well: First you sent translated only but not legalized documents to the school. Then, after got accepted by the school, you got school reports fully legalized for the needs of SEC. School reports are only documents you fully legalized/ got attested by all necessary institutions. Am I right?

Thank you Eleonor! Both, Newton and DBS never replied..... People in Loydence Academy seem to be really nice and professional so I hope they might have new places, but than again dozens of parents who are already in Doha probably think the same. This is why I was looking at completely new schools like AWIS, even though nobody seems to have some sort of information about them it is better option to not having a school at all.

Hello everybody, We are moving to Doha this August/ September. I already contacted many schools, some of which who bothered to reply have no places for my kid (5 yrs old), some didn't reply at all. The main word is there are no places for reception/kindergarten/ year 1, depending on curriculum. There are no places if your kid is not fluent in English language. What to do? Do you know any school with free places for this age (born in 2009.)? Does anybody know what the AWIS school could offer? How about Phoenix Private School...? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! P.S. My child learns English language but he is not fluent (how can he be at the age of five?)
