Thank you so much for your answer Beebers, actually it helps me a lot in my decision because I actually have issues with hair loss as well! I ve done the keratin treatment about 3 times , 1 st time was a few years back and the results were amazing but the other 2 times after a few washes my hair got back to being wavy and now my hair it's falling pretty much and I don't know if it is a side effect of the keratin treatment or could be from the water or something else! I just wish I could find something to get rid of that annoying frizzynes!?

Enigma, I know it is very scary, I was freaking out before the surgery? and I have 4 or 5 friends who felt the same before they had their eyes done but I can tell you that it is one of the best thinks I be done!if you don't mind my advise for you would be to just go for a consultation( at the place you wish to, coz I don't want anyone to say that I m doing advertising for some place), have your eyes checked , speak to the dr about the procedure suitable for your eyes and then decide, no one ever can push you to do smth you don't want to!But I just have some tips for you if you don't mind?: - go for a reputable clinic specialized in LASIK which it has the possibility of offering you latest technologies -make sure you feel comfortable with the dr -make sure that you can the dr for most of the follow- ups coz in some clinics here ( this is from my experience and my personal opinion) the dr is doing the procedures and you won't see him anymore ? I hope this helps you and I m just letting you know all this things coz I went through the same questions as you do and I had some friends encouraging me but at the end of the day it is only your decision , nobody else's! Cheers!

I m sorry to hear that Amelia, hope you are well! I understand your point but just to let you know I have a few posts because I m new on the expat women , having 2 small kids at home it is a real full time job ???! This being said, I know there are a few places in Dubai offering the LASIK procedure but I think it is up to each individual to choose the place they like the most and they feel comfortable with !

From what I know being a good candidate for LASIK doesn't depends only of you prescription but the cornea thickness as well but I think the doctor himself will let you know about all other detailes and the kind of procedure is most suitable for you!

I did the keratine treatment in Battuta Mall at hair works about 1,5 years ago, the results were good but did not last for long?, at that time I payed around 1000 Dhs if I remember corectly, I m a regulat customer there, my hair Stylist is Kerrian, she is very good but I guess the result of the treatment depends of your hair as well so I think it is better to go first for a consultation!
