Water is your best choice to satisfy thirst, but other liquids also count such as milk, coffee or tea. The amount of water you need to hydrate your body varies daily and depends on factors like your gender, age, physical size and activity level, as well as environmental factors like heat and humidity. Remember to drink more in hot weather and when you are very active.
Tip: If your urine is light yellow and clear it usually means that you are getting enough to drink. Dark yellow, strong smelling urine is a sign of dehydration
