Dubai Centre For Special Needs Appeal
The Dubai Center for Special Needs (DCSN) is a charitable non-profit organization dedicated to providing the highest standards of service in specialized education, therapy, and vocational training to individuals with various disabilities. We are currently striving to upgrade the merchandise in our Charity Shop located in Karama in order to generate more funds for DCSN. In this shop we sell nearly everything except furniture and use the funds for student sponsorship, classroom materials, and curriculum enrichment programs. Read More>>

The Himalayan Project
The Himalayan Project is a non profit organization dedicated to encourage the cultural preservation of indigenous peopleof the Himalaya through education, community development, and social outreach. THP's primary efforts have been to raise critical support for the renovation and expansion of the only school in the Mt Everest region to go through Grade 12. The school, originally founded by Sir Edmund Hillary and meant to service about 30 village children, is now attended by hundreds of Sherpa children many of whom trek 3-4 hours a day (each way) to attend classes. Chocolate and art for a good cause
Artists, designers, fashionistas, photographers and creative souls gathered on 30th March at an extraordinary charity event to raise funds for Make-A-Wish UAE. Over 50 UAE based artists contributed their time and work auctioned for the Make-a-wish Foundation. Supported by some of the best recognized brands around and incorporating live graffiti, art and of course chocolate into the proceedings all in aid of charity. Read more>>
Record breaking Earth Hour
On Saturday night, 31 March, the UAE joined the global community in the world’s largest environmental movement; Earth Hour, adding to the record-breaking 150 countries that participated in the symbolic lights off event. he UAE´s most iconic landmarks united for Earth Hour by switching off their lights, including Burj Khalifa and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. These joined other popular landmarks around the world including Sydney´s Opera House, the Great Wall of China and the Eiffel Tower. Read more>>
