I went to him for removal of a facial mole that was getting bigger and it was lasered away. I was amazed that there was hardly any scar after just a week I think. I chose him because it was facial and he's a plastic surgeon. So pleased I did it because I was getting very self conscious about it and only wish I had it done sooner. Good luck.

For moles, I think you would be better off with a dermatologist. My husband and son are going to see Dr. Hoshy at the Dental Spa in September - check him out on www.elhoshy.com

UPDATE:

I went to Dr. Mahaveer Mehta (dermatologist) at Al Ghurair business centre. Dr. Khan is fully booked until end of September and I dont want to wait. I was charged dhs2000 for a mole removal treatment regardless of the amount of moles to be removed. I had 6 moles removed on my face. Two of them were large. He removed them quickly and efficiently by lazer. Very happy so far Would defnitely recommend him. He also gave me a quotation for other treatments I want done and I think his prices are very reasonable as I'm paying out of my own pocket.

Hi, Appletiser, after the laser, how does the aerea look? Is it red ...?
I have some moles on the face which I wanted to have removed and wanted to consult Dr Khan as he is always recommended on here but your recommendation sounds good.

no, but he can send anything off to the lab if you are worried.
some people with moles in visible places eg the face will see a dermatologist but then prefer to get a plastic surgeon to do the actual procedure because they will be more careful.

Seems to be the going rate in Dubai....Dhs600 per mole.

hmm not 100% sure but I think I paid approx 1200, and a further 400 to send it to the lab, but that was optional..
I had to go into hiding for a while, because the bandages have to be worn for 5 days I think, not pretty...!

Prob depends on the size. I've just recently been to him. One was shaved, and a slightly more raised one was cut out and I had 2 stitches, mainly because there was a hair follicle. I could have shaved that one too if I wanted to. There was a laser on one of them as well I think.
I'm pleased with the results, although the one with the stitches will still take some time to fade.

Oh and they only get bigger with age apparently so have them off if they're bugging you now!

What technique does Dr. Khan use for facial mole removal...Shaving,cutting or lasering? What are his current cost per mole? I have 2 moles on my face that have suddenly started to grow. They used to be so small! I'm thinking of going to Dr.Khan or Dr.Shunnar.
