Very poor performance, very disappointing, makes you realise how very good the likes of Michael Mc Intyre and others are. No story to the evening, stumbling for things to say, little or no planning. Certain things were very distracting for him but he didn't even have a backup reminder in his pocket of things to say.

Can't say I was that impressed; he certainly didn't live up to my expectations. Still, it has to be THE single most beautiful comedy club I've ever been to...the Edinburgh Fringe will never be the same now! Fingers crossed for the Laughter Factory; I've seen Mark Maier a few times and he's very funny

I saw him 2 years ago at Media City and laughed til I cried. This time - nope, not feeling the love. Too many Ámy Winehouse'moments - standing there with nothing to say. He came on at 8:40 and went off at 9:15 for a 40 minute break - probably to tear a strip off the waiters constantly walking in front of him!I found the constant movement annoying, and he certainly did! But when he came back on, TBH, there was very little funny material, and a lot of shouting of risque words, rather than jokes and mickey taking - which he is really good at usually. The blue humour was something I was looking forward to - we are all adults and I miss the occasional disrespectful, rude, comments comedians in the UK get away with all the time. But this was more like listening to an 8 year old who has just realised that saying pe*is and w*lly etc can get extra attention. The set up was all wrong too. Who thought it was a good idea to put the F+B stations right at the front by the stage?? I think I will only go see him in the UK from now on. He was funnier as Fagin in Oliver than he was last night!! Really disappointed:(

I agree. His new material fell a little flat and some of his comments were very close to the knuckle. We enjoyed and laughed at the comments but a lot of people didn't. He tried very hard but the venue was a bit odd I thought and there were too many people moving around. I prefer the comedy stores which have tables to sit at..I think it gives a more intimate feel. Still..the fat boy made me laugh :D

I love him and I was really loking forward to it but I think he struggled a bit. Not entirely his fault, he must have to tread a very fine line here and in the first half people walking back and forth in front of the stage obviously annoyed him. I enjoy him more on TV when I can laugh out loud at his political incorrectness in private!!
