Make sure you do the VIP driving programme with Emirates Driving Institute, one of my colleagues got her license in 3 weeks!

How cool - thanks a lot for the tip!

Ahhh.. that won't work for us - need someone part time just for a couple of months. But thanks anyway CP))

Realize this is most likely illegal as well - but what are our legal options then? I have a license which is not transferrable so will take some time for me to get a new one, in the meantime our kids are supposed to start in the nursery so really need someone to drive us there and back. Taxi? Or is there some kind of company who can provide a part-time driver? Any feedback is much appreciated!

I know a driver looking for a job with a family, he is my neighbour's maid's husband, we have known him over 7 years and he is a very genuine and honest gentleman, from Sri Lanka - he also drives well.

If you would like his phone number please email me.

Hi everyone!

Sorry, another boring question but didn't find any relevant threads - could anyone recommend an agency through which we can hire a part-time driver (with a car)? We'll need him 3-4 days a week in the first half of the day and only for a couple of months (until I get my own license). Also, what do you think is a fare compensation for this kind of arrangement?
Or maybe someone could recommend a reliable individual available from mid February? Thanks a lot in advance!
