Morning ladies - OK I can only give my review of hte place from 2 - 3 years ago when I went for 3 or 4 laser sessions. I had underarm and bikini and I was expecting it to hurt (which it really did). Found the lady really professional and honestly liked the vibe in there - was clean and they had all the latest machinery. Yes it is expensive, and I need another few sessions but the hair is really really fine and almost all gone. I spoke to them recently and asked why they were so dear, they said because they are a licensed medical facility and a lot of the spas here don't use trained staff and the wrong level of laser, such as the woman who bought a voucher deal and was badly burned for her wedding (in Oud Metha I think, anyone remember it in the paper?) Personally I would rather pay more for the peace of mind.
Anyway - I have trusted them but might try K-Medi Spa to finish off my treatments since they're cheaper as I'm a bit wispy Whaaaaa?
PS - I don't work there lol!

Just goes to show how important first impressions are. I had a gut feeling about that place from the phone call!

I have never been but I did call them for a quote and remember it being astronomical! I have since been to K-Medi Spa for underarms and although I was told I would need approx 5-6 sessions, I have had almost no growth after just one session :\. I am due to go back for my 2nd session but really dont know if its needed so will hear what the therapist says. Really impressed so am going to be brave and try other parts now as well

Please do not go to Silkor! I've used them for hair removal for upperlips and armpits!
It was so painful and after 5 sessions.....I still have hair...of course less than before but what they've promised me in few sessions I will be totally hair free!!! Furthermore the staff is not professional.....the first time a lebanese girl did my session, then always a filipino lady!

I would rather go to India and get my full body instead of dealing with the Silkor scam artists.

They gave me the "It depends" BS when I called a long time back and then when I insisted she said "5000aed for ONE FULL BODY SESSION."

I had my full body done in Delhi for 10,000aed. 8 sessions each for the FULL BODY. So your arms, 8 sessions, face 8 sessions, legs 8 sessions...etc. And they were so diligent, too.

I don't understand how the salons, spas...etc get away with such outrageous prices.

I emailed them asking for a price list. They rang me back saying they can't send me one because 'it depends'. They were very keen for me to book a 'free consultation' though. I declined. All they would tell me was the price of their bridal packages which are 3-5k. Again, 'it depends'. Would be interested to hear feedback from anyone who uses them

Do they have fully qualified staff? Any reviews?
