Hugsys I paid 200 for each curtain so 800 for four curtains. I love my curtains from dragon mart and I think they're quite reasonably priced! The problem with places like dragon mart is that when u see something in the store ur not sure it's nice but trust me once u bring ur curtains home they'll look ten times better than they did in the shop. Just choose the fabric carefully and tell the tailor ur concern I'm sure he will b able to answer u better

Hugsys, they are really good quality. It is also sheer like the ones in your pic so falls quite nicely as its a soft fabric. I got them in a champagne gold colour. I have bought a few from Home Centre a looong time ago, you cannot compare. The pairs are rarely the same length amongst other things. Since then only been to dragon mart for curtains for the past 7 years or so (Zhongdi is good) so was pleasantly surprised to find these at Home R Us.

Thanks Ayaana. Were they 800 dhs each? I'm confused as to what type of curtain heading to get made now. We loved all the eyelets we saw like below but I dont think the tailors here know how to get that precise fall and worry the eyelet will just look like a sheet over the window.

Hugsys, I bought identical curtains to those from Homes R Us. It doesnt have blackout but that you can have done at dragon mart for AED50 per curtain. I think I paid AED200 for the set at Homes R Us. They have lovely, reasonably priced curtains and most of them are lined.

Do your eyelets give a proper fall all the way to the bottom or do they go flat like a sheet half way? Most of the ones I've seen in IKEA/Homecentre dont have the neat fall to the bottom.

Our windows are big so I dont think we'll find anything ready paid. We have a 3.5 metre width window with 2 metre height.

Hi CA. I saw the IKEA ones but the eyelet curtain quality there is so bad. The material isnt the right one for eyelets so you dont get that precise fall like you do in the pic I posted.

That being said I guess if I choose the wrong material myself I'll also muck them up even if they are tailored.

I bought a pair of these in navy last year as a temp fix for DS bedroom, and they were blackout too. You just cut them off at the length you want and it has an iron on strip to hem it in place…..lol…and a few colors too.

I paid 3,000 for the ones he has now, but they are nice and will hopefully do the job for the next 10 yrs.

I have no idea how much we should be paying for our custom made curtains.

We dont want big elaborate curtains because we want the rooms to look bigger and to also enjoy the sea views so were opting for eyelet curtains with blackout lining like this:

I was qouted 450 dhs in dragon mart for a pair of these including curtain pole. Does that sound right to you ladies?

I have no idea what I should be paying for something so simple.
