How about baked pototoes but instead of baking them boil, split open add bol sauce, cheese, sour cream if you have it, you can add anything. I know what it is like to not have an oven, it sucks. Maybe thicken it up and make meatloaf. Then you can have the leftovers for lunch the next day, great on a toastie.

for future reference, you could've made arancini balls with the bolognaise as the filling, it's an Italian recipe you would've only needed eggs, bread crumbs and oil to fry in and the bolognaise of course

OK - I'm going to go for the eggs, I am going to make a couple of very thin pancake-like omelettes and wrap the bolognaise inside it. There were so many great ideas on here, I just wish I had the ingredients to make them!
Thanks everyone

Or "texas eggs" - add in some chili powder, and serve with fried eggs on top. With rice and/or toast. http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090620134550AAmGweo

It's really quick and easy recipe with a leftover bolognese. I made those torilla-samosas with loads of diffenent fillings. Always great.

Mmm and the sounds of snackwiches, habibti! I bet scrambling in eggs would work too (sort of like a non-veg shakshouka).
Nic_R, you will have to tell us what you end up doing! I am finding this thread very inspiring.

Thanks for all of the replies - I might just have to put the bolognaise inside the bread, I have a severe lack of other ingredients! I do have eggs but am just not convinced about bolognaise and eggs together - has anyone tried it? We are ordering in tomorrow night and we are trying to be good both on the diet and budget front so I need to come up with something

You could make a kind of samosas with bolognese filling. Just use tortilla wraps, cut them in long strips, put the filling at the end of torilla strip, fold in triangles, deep fry till golden brown, a bit of salad et voila!

I'm assuming the bolognaise sauce is separate to the spagetti, right?
Cut the pitas, stuff it with warm bolognaise sauce and add finely chopped cucumber/salad ingredients. If you have plain yoghurt or laban, mix it with some salt & pepper & lemon juice and add that to the pitas.
Or, make snackwiches (bolognaise inbetween 2 slices of bread and toast it in the sandwich grill)
Scramble a few eggs and stir in the bolognaise

Hmm I do have baked beans, never used them for chilli but might be worth a try? I am a terrible wife lol!! Why do you think I am trying to disguise the bolognaise?!

..thought that the response on here would be quicker!
Any ideas of what I can do with leftover bolognaise so that my husband doesn't notice he is having it for the 3rd night in a row?
The first night was normal spaghetti bolognaise, last night he wasn't hungry until late so ate it on its own cold (yuck but he seems to like it) so don't know what to do with it tonight.
I don't have any kidney beans so can't turn it into chilli. I do have some of the little round soft lebanese flatbread things so thought I could use them but don't know how - I'm not very imaginative! I don't have any cheese. Or many other supplies - hence the bolognaise for the 3rd night!
And I don't have an oven - just a hob! The challenge is on....
Thanks in advance
