how much should you tip? I never know. I once tipped a furniture guy 30 and got a really sour look. Tipped the gas man 50 and he almost starting crying. Whats the expected amount? 50!! Wow!! That seems a huge amount to me. Yes, if they are on time and do a good job I usually tip AED 15/20. Had some furniture due at 11am the other week, after 5 calls and waiting in all day they finally turned up at 6pm, didn't unwrap the huge boxes, dumped them in the middle of the garden and then had the cheek to ask for a tip. Needless to say I told him 'on your bike'
