Hello everyone w emay be moving out in september if hubby gets his offer sorted and i am just enquiring on what the equestrian scene is like as we have 6 horses in the uk and would want to continue riding in dubai, also we run a tack business part time and would be shipping over the stock we have to sell to the community ,do you think this is a good idea as it seems to me that there arent a lot of equestrian shops around
any feedback would be appreciated

Hi, I am from Horseworld and happy to recomend some stables to you - depending on what you are looking for. If you are looking at bringing over your stock please do talk to us as well - we can tell you what works here and what doesnt and whether we would be keen to buy. The retail scene is small but so is the market over here. I am uploading the content on our website right now so it is half empty and will be ready by the end of the month but please feel free to email us on hworld at eim.ae

There are quite a few stables here to ride at, I guess it depends where you will be living as to which one is closest to you. Here, horseriding is very much a sport 'enjoyed' in winter, during the summer months its only early mornings and evenings under floodlit arenas. Most stables here offer horses to lease, so it would be a case of riding a few horses and finding one you get on with. As for the tack business...It depends what it is really. There are a few tack shops here that sell pretty much most things, however the range is often quite limited. It might be worth getting in touch with some of the shops to see if they would be interessted in buying your stock. you can try with http://www.horseworld-me.com/ HTH
