Basically, if you buy your iPad from Emirates Avenue, its not the UAE iPad so Facetime isnt blocked and works perfectly + well priced + delivered Facetime works between our macs and the ipad very well !

Bought mine from Emiratesavenue.com as well and Facetime works well between my husband's iphone 4S and my iPad 2. I think it depends from where you buy it and who you trust online and even offline :) Cheers
