Is it necessarily worthwhile trying to do this anyway? Regardless of whatever the typical bills used to be, there's no guarantee that they won't magically multiply with no warning in the near future. If you want to live in a villa, it looks like you have to be able to budget for summer bills in the region of 5k, and just hope that you won't get hit for that much.
This is not correct....I live in a large 4 bed villa and my highest bill was 1295 and there have only ever been two bills that have been over 1000.

I haven't checked someone else's historical bill but had mine printed at DEWA and got one year's worth of invoices. The people were extremely helpful at DEWA near Healthcare City.

I honestly don't think that is possible based on our recent DEWA hoo-ha - we received our first bill at our new vila, then didn't receive the next two, despite DH receiving reminders to pay - seemingly our account had been cancelled and the bill transferred to the homeowner so we weren't cut off. I apparently requested this during my visit to DEWA to ask for our housing fee to be corrected (uh no I didn't!). So although we had paid those 2 bills, we were not allowed copies of them as they were not in our name, nor our LLs - heaven only knows who got them!
I asked DEWA HQ by Wafi for copies of the bills but was told that wasn't possible as they weren't in our name, regardless of the fact we had to pay them!
Anyone been to DEWA to get historical bills for a villa they are about to move into with any success? We are due to move villa soon and as we have had a very bad experience with the villa we are in currently (7500 per month in the heat of the summer) we want to make sure we don't make the same mistake again.
