Hi Purplerain, I am interested in renting your villa and your ready-made garden. I do not want to jeopardise whatever you have arranged so far with wyddfa; but if you are interested, I am ready to move in now. Any chance to visit your property and discuss the rental terms and conditions, or should I connect directly with DSO?? If it is teh latter, who would be the contact person, and what phone number?? Best regards, Chrystelle

Hi - We might be leaving our 4 bed Villa on Cedar Mid September ,,,,,, its through a private landlord so nun of that silly ripping up of garden business! It is 170 a year in 2 cheques. End villa right next door to a little park area. We have painted it out in white downstairs and made it really quit lovely - if your interested send me your email ...

Ladies, further to my last post, DH is saying that he's been scouring the property sites for a couple of weeks and nothing has come up in Silicon Oasis. Does anyone who lives there know of any that are up for rent? Does anyone know why the supply of villas seems to have fallen off a cliff at a time when there should be plenty coming free? DH has set his heart on Cedre villas.

I am due to be moving to Dubai very soon (in approx 2 weeks) with my two boys. DH is already there and he would like us to rent a villa in DSO - but considering the posts below, is this possible? or is DSO only for people who are buying a property? And if anyone already lives there - is it a good place to live with 2 young boys (ages 1 & 3)? Is the "Kensington" nursery good? It feels so odd planning a new life from so far away - I would very much welcome some advice...

Any update on this? The villas in Silicon Oasis seem to have evaporated off Dubizzle etc.

The contact I had for them is a lady called Sara Ali. She sent me an email saying: Currently all to be vacated units are up for sale. In case this changes we will keep you on our list and will contact you accordingly. I might email her again to double-check.

They're not renting out villas any more - just selling them apparently. I spoke to them two weeks ago. Never mind.

We are moving on the 7th August we rent direct from DSO so if you call them they will tell you the rent, company pay so not sure. I have left details with DSO so they know we are leaving and the situation with the garden. I will text the location and you can peep over the wall at the garden if I am not in !!!!

We are moving out of a 4 bed semi villa, the garden is finished with patio etc. if someone wants to move in then we can leave the garden as it is otherwise we have to rip it up and return to sand. Seems a shame to waste all that money when someone else can have the garden ? We are looking ot rent, how much is your rental? and how many sq ft? why r u moving out?

They make you rip up the garden?? Wow! thats crazy! We are in DSO also, Cedre Villas. If you do have to rip it up and no one takes over your place, Can I maybe buy some of your plants? - We looking at redesigning our garden, but not sure what to do with it yet.
