Hello Ladies,
I have heard about the cheese cake factory. Recently a new World Largest Cheese Cake Factory outlet has opened at mall of the Emirates. Is it worth trying? My sister coming soon and she is a big fan of cheese cakes, so I was wondering if I take her there?

Am i the only one who thinks its overated, over priced poor quality grub? I have tried it on two occasions and on both found it to be bland and just blah. Even my friend who is from New York told me that she just didn't understand the appeal of Cheesecake Factory.. Or maybe i am just ordering the wrong dishes! No you're not the only one. I find it no different than Chilli's or TGIF. The cheesecake is more like concrete, it's actually flown in frozen so not even freshly made. I'd rather go to Paul for a nice soft piece of cheesecake. They need to wearing mask and stripey jumpers it is a rip off

The bases are all different. The portions are huge though better to share. I love the Cheesecake Factory and not just for cheesecake!

I love cheesecake and the one I had here was gorgeous! Agree that food portions are huge and worth sharing (though I just had cheesecake, not lunch). I can't imagine waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes for a table in a restaurant! Any restaurant anywhere! We went to MoE on a weekday afternoon and got a table straight away otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.

Been twice now and cant wait to go again. Agree with sharing dishes as the portions are huge and no need for starters. Love the quesadillas omg soooooooo good and had the Red velvet cheese cake with DH last time, would have been enough for a third person. You will love it.

Love cheesecake, but has to be biscuit base for me. Are the cheesecakes biscuit or sponge based? Or are they all different?

It's not a cheap restaurant. The burgers are around the 55Dhs mark, the "specialities" around 90 dhs, the salads around 70dhs. I'm actually not sure what the prices of the cheesecake are though because we never got around to ordering them! However, I think you can make it cost effective by ordering one meal between two people. I know that sounds weird, but the portions really are that big. My daughter's kids meal of chicken strips was enough for an adult! The salads are enormous! If you go before 5pm (any day of the week) then they have lunch time portions of some of the meals that are cheaper. Also the cheesecake slices are massive...MASSIVE! Between 7 people there is no way each person would eat one slice. I would say order 3 or 4, which is more than enough.

Yes!!!! This is my favourite restaurant at the moment. I have now dined there twice and we all thought the food was great. Although, word of warning...the portions are HUGE! So if you're thinking about having a meal and then cheesecake for dessert then you have no chance. Twice we have been so stuffed by the food that we couldn't try the cheesecake, so we have decided that next time we will go for cheesecake and coffee only. We also found that the queuing times in MOE were much more decent than Dubai Mall. We went at Friday lunchtime with 7 of us and only had to wait for a table for 10 minutes. In Dubai Mall we had to wait for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Thanks for the suggestion :) Just to know more is it cost effective? Or I should expect to spend more just to have cheesecakes? Because I also have a family of 7 and I am the only one to pay :D
