Hi ladies,

Does anyone know where I can get it the Skylanders starter pack for a Wii console?
I have been to:
C4 - MOE & Mirdiff
Lulu
Geant
Sharaf DG- Al Barsha & Ibn Battuta
Geekay games- MOE
Toy Store- MOE
Virgin- MOE
I have checked nearly the whole of Dubai but it seems that there is no Skylanders for the Wii.
They have the game for the Nintendo DS, Xbox & PS3 but it seems no stock of the Wii one because now there is a new Wii U??
Argos (UK) has it in stock but have no one coming out till May.
Anyone seen it or advise me on where else to try.

Hi Mariana, Thanks for your reply. I would be interested in the Skylanders Giants Wii. Only concern is the type...not sure what model my console is as it doesn't say on the box? SkyKitty seemed to think it would definately be PAL so if so then NTSC is no good. Do you know anymore? Thanks. Dont know what to say...Try to take it to a shop and see what they will say about it...they may know a place you could modified it so you could use both.I think in Dubai the majority it will be NTSC

JadoPado is [url=http://www.jadopado.com'>link[/url'> they deliver same day if item is in stock. But they don't have it. I think Spyro's Adventure is the first Skylanders and Giants is the other one. You can check [url=http://www.geekaygames.com'>Geekay website[/url'> and buy online. They have pics so you will know which is the game you are looking for. If your Wii is from the UK then it is almost certainly PAL format. Mine is from Oz and is PAL, on the bottom/side there is a plaque that says the country, well mine has numbers ending in AUS. If your Wii has been modified (ask your cousin) then it may be able to play either. My sister modified mine before I left so that I could copy my games onto a hard disk and leave them at home, so now I can buy either disc and they will work. But anyway, I am sure yours is PAL, look at games you already own that work, if the cover of the game has a coloured number rating, it is PAL. If it has a letter (e.g. E for Everyone) then it is NTSC <em>edited by SkyKitty on 11/03/2013</em>

Ok now I'm even more confused? SkyKitty....where is JadoPado? Never heard of it? I checked in Geekay in MOE on Saturday but they didn't have it. What's the difference between the Spyro & Giants packs? How do I know what Wii I have? PAL or NTSC? I got it from my cousin in the UK. TurkishDervish...hubby has checked Sharaf DG in Times Square but no stock. Do you start with Giants then progress to Spyro game? My son will probably know more about this than me!! Thanks ladies.

We got ours at Sharaf DG Time Square. They had both Spyro and Giants at the time, about a month or so ago. I bought Spyro though, as we had Giants starter pack for Xbox. HTH

Have you tried JadoPado? They *may* have it or be able to get it in? Geekay has Skylanders starter pack for Wii PAL, but it's Spyro, not Giants... If I had seen this last week I could have got one from US, but it depends on the console (NTSC or PAL)
