Yep, Claire's usually has a few, in different sizes. I wear one for work, and it can be even easier than what some others here have said. To use mine, I do this: 1. Smooth hair and put in ponytail 2. Put donut over the top 3. Tip head forward and spread hair evenly over the donut 4. Use a clear stretchy elastic and snap it quickly around the edges of the donut 5. Stand up straight, letting the ends of the hair fall, damp them down then wind them around the outside of the donut and secure with pins. A hairnet will help if you want to keep it neat for hours but is not strictly necessary. You can also do a high pony on the very top of your head, and leave some of the ends free for the "ballerina bun" weekend look. Depends on the size of the donut though. Sock buns are a good alternative but are heavier and I found them annoying after awhile.

OMG!!! Just seen a great YouTube on how to put your hair in a bun. They didn'y use a donut thingy they used a long sausage thing that they rolled their pony tail up in and then put into a bun. Anyone know if you can get long sausage foam thingy for your hair? It looked so much more easier to do than using the donut. I miss Superdrug and the large UK Boots the chemist You can get so many hair accessories etc there and they are so cheap compared to here

If you have really long hair you dont really need the donut thing. If you really want to secure your hair then put it in a high ponytail first. Then twist your hair into a tight tube, then curl it around the hair tie in a circle, tuck the end in and secure with those u shaped pins (not kirby grips).

I've seen tutorials on youtube. Apparently you can also cut the top of a sock roll it a bit and use that too. Search sock bun tutorials on youtube, same concept (:
