** Not the school **
Didn't think it had to come to this, but after so many unsolicited calls I am calling them out!
I think I got the name right, but I'm referring to that annoying company that keeps phoning me to get us to sign up with a pension/investment plan.
Even if I keep on asking to take my phone number off their records they keep on phoning! Now...I would put up with it from some local company because I know they don't "know better", but a company that seems to be British run, as every person who phoned me was British should know that "I am not interested, do not call me again" should mean just that.
But not them. What's funny and most irritating is how unorganised they also appear to be, because without fail every few months I'll receive a call, I'll waste 7-8 minutes of my time trying to get them off me, when I eventually succeed I then get another call (from the same person) 3-4 days later.
Now if you cannot even make notes of the conversation we had few days earlier, where I told you I know who you are if I need you I'll contact you. If you cannot even record my wish, or my telephone number and phone me all over again, if you cannot do something as basic as that, how the heck do you expect me to give you my money? I won't give them a penny (or dirham) in a million years.
And I don't like to be rude on the phone as I have worked in sales and I know cold calling is probably the worst so I try to be understanding, but they get under my skin. 8 calls in the past 5 months!
Even if I were needing a pension/investment plan, which I don't, I wouldn't go with them. Worst of all they are obviously getting my number from somewhere without authorization, yet try to tell me I was recommended by a friend or I filled a request for info. When I asked who referred me, there is no record of that friend. Because that friend does not exist. None of my "friends" would give my phone number out to anybody, person or organization without permission. They know how I feel about this and would not dare doing that if they treasure our friendship and I certainly do not fill any requests for financial advice so, dear AIS stop lying and get your act together!
Am I the only one feeling (sorry about the rant) frustrated or someone out there has experienced the same?
