My son has had an accident and hurt his arm - have no idea what the procedure is/where I need to go? Is there an A&E dept. we should go to? We are based in Jumeirah. Any help much appreciated

With apologies for the late reply, it has been quite a busy day as you can imagine :) Just wanted to say thank you so much ladies for all your replies. We went to Medcare Clinic in the end and they were fab, assessed and diagnosed super quick. Son is happily sleeping now with arm in a cast. Thanks again everyone.

orthosports in jumeirah are great - Dr. Kazim Moosa - 043450601 For OP, you will struggle to get an appointment with Dr Kazim - he would be follow up not A and E.

I hope your son's ok and not in too much pain. When I've had this sort of thing with either of my two, I've used the American Hospital A&E and they've always been very good, quick and thorough and covered by our insurance. Yes I second that.

I would always use Rashid Hospital for fractures. City missed DD's fractured ankle, Medcare Dr was shocked as it was so obvious.

Just letting everyone know that i noticed the new Al Zahra Hospital off SZR is (finally) now open. I used to attend their clinics years ago when I first arrived and had good experiences. I hope we get some good feedback in time as it would be nice to have another center on this side of town. I've heard they have a state of the art facility and good things about them, yet to try but on the list.

Medcare or city are my first choice. Where ever you go watch the casting, some better than others, City has a great caster.

Someone recommended Medcare orthopaedic clinic for broken bones, right at safa park interchange, not the hospital overlooking the sandpit at jess jumeriah. I second Medcare when my son broke his wrist they took very good care of him.

Can highly recommend Dr Steffan at the Saudi German Hospital. He was brilliant with my daughter when she broke her arm late last year.
